# Kommander

Keeps long-running work on course across sessions, and commands the agents doing it.

Kommander keeps work as **tasks**, each a folder of plain markdown: a living `TASK.md` (goal,
context, decisions, current state), daily session logs and artifacts. A **task lock** says
which session works on which task, so two sessions never work the same task at once. Every
session opens on the list of active tasks and works one of them.

When several agents work for one person, Kommander also leads them: it hands out work,
collects honest status, and stops everyone cleanly.
